From Jacques:

1. Does Christopher think he will ever fall in love again?
Yes, he does. He hopes he can, as he spent so much lost love on Helene that he feels he should make up for it somehow with someone who equally deserves it.
2. What makes Christopher happy?
The sun, the sea air - being alone in the countryside, just peace with himself. Knowing that he is helping those like Helene was doing - his friend Charlot's company.
3. Is Christopher scared of anything?
He's scared of losing people. He goes all out to help them, he bonds with them, and then he worries that his efforts will be in vain. He doesn't fear for himself - his life lost meaning after Helene died
4. Would he and Jacques get along?
I think they would, seeing as they're both Revolutionaries.
5. What does Christopher want most in the world?
He wants to have a proper relationship - a family. He wants justice for Helene's death.

From Tessa:

1. If Chris was to take Thérèse on a 21st century date, what would he do? Details please!
He would most likely cook her dinner or take her to a restaurant, followed by a walk along a river/canal to his home which would most likely be in the country. He'd then laden her with wine and good music and hope for the best conversation!

2. How is he justifying his betrayal of Thérèse? Besides the obvious 'for the greater good'.
That's just it! That's the only reason. She's not a threat per se, she's not going under any dastardly scheme to harness the revolution and yet he thinks if he doesn't hand her over it'll be betraying his ideals and his cause.

3. What is his philosophy or motto in life?
His philosophy came all too late. It is literally don't do tomorrow what you can do today, and if he had thought of that ten years ago he would have eloped with Helene and married her right away.

4. If he could have any job in the world, regardless of practicality or skills, what would he do?
Hed be an artist. He loves to paint and draw and try and capture the beauty of what he sees. If he were in the 21st century he'd be a combination of painter and photographer. He has a good eye for detail.

5. How far would he go for love? Emotionally, physically, any way you can think of.
For his siblings he would kill or sacrifice himself to protect them. For love, he would do exactly the same thing. He's incredibly selfless.

Olivia once caught one of her brothers in bed with a maid, the price of her continued silence is a new book at the beginning of every month.

Tristan buys toys for his lap dog. He bought him a beautiful red and blue ball. The servant thought it was for Gabriel, and he was too embarassed to admit it. So his precious son plays with a dog toy, He still can't get that ball out of his crib.
